CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah el-Din Mostafa Wednesday said that a comprehensive modernisation plan will be carried out for bodies that are affiliated to the Ministry of Military Production throughout the coming period.
The strategy aims at upgrading production lines, equipment, machinery and research and technology laboratories, enhancing the human resources system along with adopting cutting-edge quality management systems (QMS), and research, training and marketing programs, according to Mostafa.
Mostafa highlighted the importance of effectively harnessing the latest digital technologies, particularly in the industrial sector.
Meanwhile, he congratulated employees of the Ministry of Military Production on the 70th anniversary of the Egyptian military production that marks the production of the first Egyptian bullet by one of the ministry’s affiliated factory, Shubra Engineering Industries Company (Factory 27).
