Egypt’s Ministry of Finance issued an explanatory infographic, titled “Egyptian Citizens First, Priority In Financial Policies”. The policies aim to make every effort to extend the social protection umbrella to low- and middle-income people, reduce the burdens on citizens by all means, raise the efficiency of public and increase spending on health and education.
The Ministry indicated that the financial policies also aim to push economic and development activity and support production in a way that contributes to reducing production costs and limiting price increases as much as possible.
The Ministry explained that financial policies aim to maintain the stability of financial performance by working on achieving financial discipline and creating sufficient space to enhance spending on the human and social development sectors.
