Madbouli: Egypt keen on involving youth in sustainable development process 1 - Egyptian Gazette

CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said on Saturday that holding the 43rd World Scout Conference in Egypt, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and with full government support, reflects keenness on re-involving youth in the sustainable development process.

Madbouli, in a recorded speech during the inauguration of the conference Saturday night, pointed to accelerated global changes that entail further action to determine a mechanism by which to push youth forward and hone their skills.

The youth should keep up with the fast pace of technology, while working on their humanitarian values and creativity, the premier advised.

He made it clear that the youth make up a huge segment of the Egyptian social fabric, considering this an advantage that should be used and supported.

Madbouli touched upon a clear strategic vision – Egypt Vision 2030 – that is meant to introduce a comprehensive transformation in all fields of life through enhancing the quality of education, upgrading the infrastructure, improving living conditions and supporting economic and social development.

The premier said his government launched the 2024 program, which, he added, aims to achieve tangible progress particularly where human and economic development is concerned.

Building the Egyptian people is in the heart of this program, Madbouli noted.
