CAIRO – Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib has lauded Saudi Arabia as an important and special investment and trade partner for Egypt.
The minister made his remarks on Friday at a meeting with his Saudi counterpart Khalid Al-Falih in Egypt, noting that the government is keen to create the most favorable investment climate for all Saudi investors.
They discussed investment opportunities and possible cooperation in several sectors of mutual interest for the two brotherly countries.
El-Khatib also shed light on the recent economic reforms made by the Egyptian government, voicing Cairo’s keenness to enhance trade and strategic partnership with the Kingdom, particularly in the domains of investment, industry, tourism, communication and information technology, logistics and green energy.
