Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed on Thursday offering necessary facilities to lure investments to the General Authority For Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) and ironing out administrative hurdles to investors.
He lauded efforts to localize industry, saying it is a strategic goal of the State and a main way to achieve development and progress.
Sisi made the remarks during a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, head of the SCZone Walid Gamal el Din and acting head of the Administrative Control Authority Amr Hosni.
Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said Madbouli expounded the new government’s efforts to put into effect the targets sets in its policy statement, especially in the economic and investment domains, including enhancing investment environment and encouraging more cooperation with the private sector to effectively contribute to the country’s overall development.
Sisi was updated on SCZone efforts to lure investments in the industrial sector.
