The Arab League (AL) Tuesday hailed Egypt’s remarkable achievements in the human rights domain that embodied in the maintained political stability and the constant implementation of the National Human Rights Strategy, which was launched in 2021.
This came in a speech delivered by the AL General Secretariat during the 61st session of the Arab Charter on Human Rights (ACHR) committee to discuss the second periodical report by Bahrain and Egypt’s initial report.
The speech was delivered by Director of the Human Rights Department at the AL Munir al Fassi.
Developing Egypt’ prisons system to a comprehensive reform and rehabilitation system – through refurbishing the dilapidated building and adopting modernized visions – are testaments to the major leap made by Egypt in the domain of human rights.
