The spokesman of the Chinese Embassy in Cairo expressed his country’s support for Palestine for the upcoming UN Security Council (UNSC) vote on its full UN membership.
China supports the UNSC in discussing and accepting Palestine’s full UN membership as soon as possible, and proposes that a larger, more authoritative and more effective international peace conference be convened to formulate a timetable and road map for the implementation of the “two-state solution”, he added in press statements distributed by the Chinese Embassy in Cairo on Sunday.
The Chinese Embassy in coordination with the relevant governmental bodies in Egypt and the Red Crescent exert strenuous efforts in order to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the enclave, he added.
