Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted Egypt’s keenness on offering all needed support for the Democratic Republic of Congo to implement its development programs in light of the historic ties between the two countries.
This came during a phone call which President Sisi received on Wednesday from his Congolese counterpart Felix Tshisekedi.
The talks tackled means of enhancing bilateral cooperation as well as the conditions in the African continent, Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said.
The two leaders also reviewed means of proceeding with enhancing joint African action to realize peace, stability and security in the continent.
They underlined the importance of promoting stability to push forward development to meet the aspirations of the African people.
