The Egyptian Armed Forces General Command mourned Major General Abdel Moneim Saeed, one of the Egyptian heroes of the October 6, 1973 War, who passed away on Friday morning.
Saeed posted several leading positions, including commander of the Second Field Army, former head of the Armed Forces Operations Authority, governor of South Sinai, and governor of the Red Sea.
The Armed Forces General Command offered condolences to family of the deceased and the Armed Forces personnel for their loss.
