CAIRO – The Cabinet observed a minute of silence Wednesday over the death of former defense minister field marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi who passed away Tuesday.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said the late minister exerted utmost effort to protect his country, especially in light of challenges Egypt has undergone in the wake of the January 25 Revolution, praising his wisdom and experience during hardships, that enabled the country emerge unscathed.
