NEW DELHI – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Sunday his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of G20 summit.
The two leaders underlined the importance of pushing forward bilateral relations and building on the progress achieved on the road of resuming relations between the two countries, Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said.
They reiterated keenness on enhancing regional cooperation based on mutual respect, joint interest and good intentions in a way that achieves security and stability in the Middle East.
The spokesman said the two sides exchanged viewpoints towards regional developments as well as ways of enhancing bilateral relations.
