Egypt’s Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el Molla said the zero flare gas recovery projects have saved nearly EGP2.8 billion a year.
He said in a statement on Saturday that the 12 projects contributed to cutting emissions and creating positive environmental results.
El Molla added that the ministry prioritizes projects focusing on preserving the environment, achieving sustainability, cutting emissions and cost and enhancing efficiency on using energy.
