The World Health Organization (WHO) has called for the establishment of a humanitarian corridor into the Gaza Strip amid ongoing Israeli military air strikes on the blockaded enclave, France 24 reported on Tuesday.
“WHO is calling for an end to the violence … A humanitarian corridor is needed to reach people with critical medical supplies,” WHO spokesman Tarik Jasarevic told a press briefing in Geneva.
Israeli warplanes pounded Gaza early Tuesday, the third day since Hamas’s surprise attack.
