WASHINGTON- Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will start on Thursday a Middle East tour covering Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
Department of Defense Spokesman John Kirby said at a press conference that Austin will meet during his visit with leaders and military commanders of the two countries.
He will also take part in Manama Dialogue Conference during his visit to Bahrain, added the spokesman.
