NEW YORK – The UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said more than 20,000 Palestinians are taking refuge in 44 schools affiliated with the agency all over Gaza Strip except Khan Younis which is being targeted by Israeli raids.
Two students were killed in UNRWA schools in Khan Younis and Beit Hanoun.
The agency said the schools include 28 emergency shelters.
Three UNRWA schools were damaged in the Israeli air raids on the coastal enclave.
