A Palestinian youth was shot on Monday by Israeli gunfire, while four others were detained, during an Israeli military raid in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

Security sources told WAFA that the Israeli army raided several neighbourhoods in the city, broke into a slain Palestinian’s house and ransacked a coffee shop before firing live bullets and toxic gas, injuring a youth with a live bullet in his foot.

The sources added that the soldiers raided several villages and towns south of Nablus, and detained four Palestinians, including a minor.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian youth was shot by Israeli gunfire, while dozens suffered from suffocation, during an Israeli military raid in the town of al-Zababdeh, south of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.

Local sources told WAFA that the Israeli army raided the said village and opened fire and toxic gas canisters, injuring a youth with bullets while dozens suffered from suffocation due to inhaling the gas fired at them.

The sources added that confrontations also broke out in Rummana, west of Jenin

Scores of Israeli settlers on Monday stormed Al Asqa Mosque compound under protection of Israeli occupation forces.

According to Palestinian local sources in the occupied city of Al Quds, the settlers guarded by police, broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in groups from the side of Bab al-Maghariba Gate and performed Talmudic rituals under protection of Israeli troops.

Al Aqsa Mosque is subject to continued attacks by Israeli extremist settlers.
