An Iraqi security source said Monday that two young sisters were killed and wounded in the explosion of a mine in the city of Basra, south Iraq.
Al Sumaria’s news channel said a nine-year-old girl was killed in the blast while her seven-year-old sister suffered various wounds.
The United Nations had said the Iraqi soil is still crawling with unexploded deadly mines. Daesh terrorist group was accused of planting the mines.
