US President Donald Trump celebrates Iran’s announcement that it has opened the Strait of Hormuz.
“IRAN HAS JUST ANNOUNCED THAT THE STRAIT OF IRAN IS FULLY OPEN AND READY FOR FULL PASSAGE,” Trump writes in an all-caps Truth Social post.
Iran’s foreign minister announced earlier Friday that Tehran was allowing the safe passage of ships that coordinate with the Islamic Republic following the securing of a ceasefire in Lebanon.
