RAMALLAH – Settlers, under the protection of Israeli police, stormed on Sunday Al Aqsa Mosque yards, according to local sources.
The settlers broke into the Mosque’s compound from Bab al Maghariba ‘s Gate, carried out provocative tours of the Mosque’s yards and performed Talmudic rituals, the sources added.
Al Aqsa Mosque is subject to daily attacks by settlers in an attempt to exercise full control on the Mosque and divide it in terms of time and space.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested 15 Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank, including journalist Sami el Shami and previous detainees.
Arrests took place in governorates of Hebron, Nablus, Jericho, Jenin and Ramallah.
