Qatar has announced outdoor gatherings including wedding parties and funerals may be held.
Qatar’s Interior Ministry announcement takes effect Wednesday after a month of restrictions.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari said the gas-rich nation has not suffered attacks in recent days but urged the public to remain vigilant.
The last attack reported by the Qatari Defense Ministry was March 19 when a missile damaged Ras Laffan facility, the world’s largest liquefied natural gas plant.
