These include organizing roundtable meetings with key officials, hosting a gala dinner attended by The Swiss Ambassador, Government Ministers, Officials, and business leaders from the Swiss-Egyptian community, managing the Swiss Pavilion at trade fairs, and offering corporate training programs powered by the Swiss School of Management. These initiatives have strengthened business connections and promoted economic growth.
In 2023, the bilateral trade volume between Switzerland and Egypt reached CHF 1.646 billion, with imports from Egypt rising to CHF 486.1 million and Swiss exports to Egypt totaling CHF 1.16 billion. These figures highlight the robust economic ties and mutual benefits of our trade relationship. Swiss investments in Egypt continue to grow, particularly in renewable energy, healthcare, ICT, and agribusiness. Egypt’s recent stable investment climate, reinforced by economic reforms and regulatory transparency, offers Swiss companies’ numerous opportunities.
