BEIRUT – The motorcade of Lebanon’s acting Minister of Interior and Municipalities Bassam Mawlawi suffered material damage in a car accident on the Beirut Autostrad between the capital and the north.
Neither the minister nor his escorts were hurt, said eyewitnesses, adding the motorcade vehicles were partially damaged.
The accident happened when a truck hit the motorcade, they added.
