PARIS- French President Emmanuel Macron Thursday asserted keenness on achieving peace in the Middle East.
On Wednesday, the French president received a number of foreign ministers of Arab and Muslim nations to address the evolving situation in the Middle East.
“I welcomed the announcement of an agreement for the release of hostages and a humanitarian truce,” Macron posted on his account of X platform.
“We are working tirelessly to release all hostages.
“The humanitarian truce announced should allow to introduce aid and rescue the civilians in the Gaza.”
