The Arab League (AL) mission to monitor the Lebanese parliamentary election asserted that the elections went on in a way respecting laws and systems.
The mission expressed hope that this election represent a new phase in the national constructive work where the parliament has a full and effective role in pushing forward the track of changes and reform to meet the aspirations of the Lebanese people.
This came during a press conference held by Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Rashid Khattabi on Wednesday, reviewing the report of the Arab League’s mission.
