WASHINGTON -The body of former US President Jimmy Carter arrived Wednesday at the US Capitol in Washington to lie in state until the time of his official funeral Thursday.
Al-Hurra TV Channel reported that former US presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, are expected to attend the funeral, in addition to US President-elect Donald Trump.
Carter, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate, died last December 30 at the age of 100. He was the thirty-ninth president of the United State.
