RAMALLAH – Israeli settlers stormed the holy mosque of Al Aqsa in the occupied East Jerusalem on Thursday under police protection.

The settlers entered the mosque from the Magharibah Gate, and conducted provocative tours.

They also performed Talmudic rituals.

Israeli police turned the Old City into military barracks and fanned out hundreds of its personnel at Aqsa gates. Military measures were intensified.
