A Palestinian youth with Down Syndrome from occupied Jerusalem, known as Osama al Salaymeh, 22, was summoned Sunday for questioning by the Israeli occupation authorities, Wafa news agency quoted his father as saying.
Nawwaf al Salaymeh said his son was summoned for questioning despite holding a special card stating his health condition and preventing him from being arrested or summoned, but the Israeli occupation forces insisted on his summoning.
The father said his two other sons, Ayham, 13, and Ahmad, 14, have also been under house arrest for two months, imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities.
Earlier in the day, an Israeli court in Jerusalem sentenced a Palestinian man, who was arrested in 2018, to 14 years in jail.
