RAMALLAH – The Israeli army detained Monday 11 Palestinians during raids in various areas in the West Bank (WB), WAFA news agency reported quoting Palestinian security sources.
Five Palestinians were apprehended in the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, including a released Palestinian detainee and another was held again in the West Bank city of Nablus, the sources said.
Four Palestinians were rounded up in Tarqumia Checkpoint, to the west of the West Bank city of Hebron and a Palestinian youth was arrested at Amari refugee camp in Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, in the central West Bank, according to the sources.
Meantime, the sources said scores of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under protection of Israeli occupation troops and carried out provocative tours in its environs.
