The Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi announced Wednesday that the operations carried out since last Friday have served as a deterrent warning, and that actual punitive operations will be carried out soon.
In remarks reported by the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Mousavi stated that Israel, while ignoring all recognized international laws and continuing the killing of around 300 journalists in Gaza and Lebanon, has brutally attacked media personnel from the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) in an attempt to silence the voice of truth.
IRNA noted that Mousavi’s comments refer to the Israeli attack on the headquarters of IRIB in Tehran that took place Monday.
