Tehran/Kuwait/Baharain/Doha (News Wires) – Nearly a month into the conflict with the United States and Israel, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards on Friday called on civilians throughout the region to keep their distance from locations housing American troops.
“The cowardly American-Zionist forces are attempting to hide behind civilian sites and innocent people,” the Guards said in a statement published on their Sepah News website.
“We strongly advise you to evacuate any area where US forces are present to ensure your safety.”
The warning coincided with a drone strike that damaged Kuwait’s main commercial port early Friday, according to local authorities, as Iran continued its operations in the Gulf in response to US-Israeli attacks.
The Kuwait Port Authority said on X that Shuwaikh port was hit at dawn by “enemy drones,” causing material damage but no casualties.
Bahrain sounded its missile alert sirens late Friday morning after detecting an incoming strike from Iran.
Qatar, which had not experienced a significant attack in recent days, also issued alerts on Friday.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced that on Thursday they had launched missile and drone strikes aimed at targets in Israel and at Gulf-based military facilities used by US forces.
Among the sites struck, they said, was a maintenance facility for the US Patriot air defense system in Bahrain, according to statements carried by Iranian news agencies.
