GAZA CITY – Spokesman for International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Hisham Mhanna urged intensifying efforts to reach a sustainable political solution and halt bloodshed in the Gaza Strip.
In an intervention on Al Qahera News channel on Thursday, Mhanna said that the humanitarian and military solutions are no longer suitable for solving the current crisis, asserting the necessity to provide safe means and measures in addition to continuing the flow of humanitarian support.
The medical complex affiliating to the Palestinian Red Crescent Association in Khan Younis was targeted for the third time, he said, adding that it includes thousands of displaced in addition to hundreds of injured and medial cadres.
The humanitarian situation in the enclave is catastrophic, he said.
