After considerable efforts, the Moroccan emergency services managed to get Rayan out of the deep well, but unfortunately Rayan passed away.
The death of Ryan has caused grief both regionally and internationally.
Countries stood in solidarity with the Moroccan people, offering condolences to Rayan’s family.
Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob posted a tweet, offering condolences to Rayan’s family.
He said, “it is really sad knowing that Rayan passed away. The Malaysian people and I offer our sincere condolence to Rayan’s family.”
Meanwhile, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs also offered its condolences to Rayan’s family, stressing its solidarity with Morocco and the deceased child’s family.
The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace sent its condolences to Rayan’s family, praising Morocco’s efforts to rescue Rayan.
In addition, the President of the Council, Ahmed Al Jarwan, said that “Rayan’s crisis highlights the peoples’ unity, solidarity and sympathy around the world. This is what the Council tries to highlight and boost.”
