The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Wednesday that the number of Palestinians who have died from the bombings by the Israeli Army on the Gaza Strip since the entry into force of the ceasefire agreed on October 10, 2025, has risen to more than 1,530, including seven in the last day.
The Ministry has detailed that in the last 24 hours, seven dead and 24 injured have been counted. With these new victims, the toll since the beginning of the ceasefire stands at 1,534 “martyrs” and 5,486 injured, to which are added 841 bodies recovered in areas from which Israeli forces withdrew.
The Ministry has also issued a second note warning that “the amount of fuel required to operate the electric generators of the hospitals has run out” and warns that this situation may cause “the immediate collapse and mechanical deterioration” of said equipment, with a direct impact on the main services of medical centres.
In this context, it has emphasised that it had already issued multiple warnings in recent months about the “limited amount” of fuel that manages to enter Gaza due to the restrictions imposed by Israel, before again calling on “all competent authorities” to “fulfill their humanitarian responsibilities and intervene immediately” to ensure the necessary supply that allows the generators to continue operating.
