CAIRO – Egyptian Justice Minister Omar Marawan headed for Geneva to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on enhancing the culture of international humanitarian law.
The Justice Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that the memo aims to organize activities, events and debates for staffers of sectors of international humanitarian law in Egypt.
The minister is also set to attend a number of events organized by Egypt’s permanent mission to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva to shed light on progress realized in the fields of human rights in Egypt.
