CAIRO – Egyptian Ambassador to Vietnam Amal Salama visited the University of Languages & International Studies, an affiliate to Vietnam National University (VNU-ULIS) to present a number of books and publications in Arabic language as a gift from the Egyptian government.
The president of the University lauded late Tuesday Egypt’s continued support to the Arabic language department via providing an envoy from Azhar to teach Arabic since the establishment of the department, in addition to the Higher Education ministry’s grants to teach Arabic.
Salama asserted the importance of cultural and language ties in fostering bilateral relations and promoting joint understanding between Egypt and Vietnam.
