CAIRO – Egypt has condemned in the strongest terms a drone attack launched by the Houthi group on Qena commercial port in Yemen’s Shabwa governorate.
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry held the group responsible for this escalation in Yemen and its refusal to extend the truce.
The statement expressed Egypt’s support for Yemen’s unity and sovereignty and full solidarity with the Yemeni people in the face of all threats.
It called for paving the way for more efforts leading to a political settlement that could help ease the suffering of the Yemeni people.
