Commander of the Sudanese Armed Forces Abdel Fattah Al Burhan said Sunday that a legal committee will decide on the fate of officials who were suspended and detained days ago.
The Sudanese army quoted Burhan as saying that the army does not oppose peaceful demonstrations which it said is a legal right for the demonstrators.
Burhan’s office, meanwhile, said that prime minister of the dissolved government Aballah Hamdouk was not arrested, affirming he is in his house now.
