AMMAN/ WASHINGTON – US Secretary of State Antony Blinken affirmed during his current visit to the Middle East that the talks on the Gaza conflict are not easy.
Blinken wrote on his official “X” social media platform today, Sunday, “I am in the Middle East this week to meet with our partners in the region regarding the situation in Gaza. These discussions are not necessarily easy, but it is essential for us to engage in this diplomacy now for the future of Gaza itself and the future of both Israelis and Palestinians alike.”
Jordan is the second stop during Blinken’s new tour of the region, which includes 8 countries and the West Bank. He commenced the tour with a visit to Turkey.
