WASHINGTON- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken extended his condolences to the families of the victims of the violence that took place in a Belgrade school on Wednesday.
“Heartbreaking news about today’s shooting in Belgrade. Our thoughts are with the people of Serbia. We join others around the world in sending our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the innocent victims of today’s senseless violence,” Blinken wrote on Twitter.

A teenage boy opened fire Wednesday morning at the Vladislav Ribnikar elementary school in central Belgrade, killing eight students and a security guard and wounding six students and a teacher.
