The Arab Parliament discussed on Saturday a number of model laws which cover, inter alia, protecting privacy and combating e-blackmailing in Arab countries.
During the second general session of the third legislative term, the Arab Parliament tackled draft laws referred by its affiliated committees.
The lawmakers reviewed ongoing efforts to ride out the crises facing the Arab region as well as the role due to be played by the parliament in the coming period.
The talks also tackled the conditions in Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Libya, Iraq, Lebanon, Sudan and Somalia.
They also discussed several issues, including Arab water and food security, climate change and violence against women.
They also examined draft reports on means of promoting Arab economic integration and artificial intelligence in addition to combating child labour.
