CAIRO – Assistant Secretary General and Head of the International Political Affairs Sector at the Arab League, Khaled Bin Mohamed Manzalawi Monday discussed with Irish Ambassador to the UAE, and non-resident Ambassador to Kuwait and Qatar Alison Milton the latest political developments of mutual concern in the regional arena.
Both sides discussed the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip and the situation in Sudan, Libya, Yemen and Lebanon.
That came as Manzalawi was receiving Milton today.
During the meeting, the AL official welcomed Milton and commended Ireland’s position regarding the country’s recognition of the State of Palestine.
