275 settlers storm Al Aqsa Mosque, Israeli forces arrest 25 Palestinians in WB

RAMALLAH – As many as 275 Jewish settlers stormed Al Aqsa Mosque compound on Monday, under the protection of Israeli police forces.

The settlers broke into the Mosque’s compound from Bab al-Maghariba ‘s Gate, conducted provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals, amid severe restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City.

Al Aqsa Mosque is subject to daily incursions by settlers in an attempt to exercise full control on the Mosque and divide it in terms of time and space.

Regarding daily arrests in the West Bank, the Palestinians Prisoners’ Club said Israeli occupation forces nabbed at least 25 Palestinians, including former captives.

The club added the arrests were made in the provinces of Ramallah and Al Bireh, Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Salfit and Jerusalem.

Israeli forces have so far arrested nearly 7,530 Palestinians in different parts of the occupied West Bank since October 7, 2023, according to the club.
