Telecom Egypt (WE), the country’s first integrated telecommunications operator, is participating in the 30th edition of the Cairo International Technology Exhibition and Conference for the Middle East and Africa (Cairo ICT 2026), taking place from November 7 to 10 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo.

The event serves as a prominent platform, bringing together leading international and domestic corporations, renowned technology experts, and industry pioneers from Egypt, the region, and across the globe, alongside extensive participation from various government ministries and authorities.

As part of its participation, Telecom Egypt is showcasing its latest telecommunications services, integrated technological solutions, and an array of innovative digital offerings aimed at accelerating digital transformation across various economic sectors.

This year, Telecom Egypt is participating under the theme “Beyond Connectivity,” reflecting its overarching strategy of moving beyond the provision of conventional telecommunications services and infrastructure toward delivering comprehensive, integrated digital solutions.

These solutions are designed to enhance citizens’ quality of life, improve the performance and operational efficiency of institutions and businesses, and support sustainable economic growth.

To achieve these objectives, the company adopts a customer-centric approach based on a thorough understanding of the distinct characteristics of each sector, the specific requirements of its clients, and the challenges they encounter, enabling it to develop customised solutions that effectively address their individual needs.

Throughout the exhibition, Telecom Egypt is showcasing a diverse portfolio of sector-specific digital solutions targeting several key industries, including healthcare, education, manufacturing, smart cities, ports, airports, hospitality, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

These solutions incorporate advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, and cybersecurity, with the aim of elevating service standards, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring business continuity.

The solutions on display include a range of specialised healthcare applications delivered through the “WE Smart Health” platform, which facilitates the integration of different systems across medical institutions.

Powered by artificial intelligence (AI), the platform analyzes data to inform clinical decision-making and enhance the allocation and management of resources and healthcare services.

In the education sector, the “WE Smart Education” suite contributes to advancing the educational ecosystem through AI-powered capabilities, including content development, interactive classroom management, lecture analysis, and student assessment.

These solutions are designed to enhance the overall quality of education, reduce administrative and instructional workloads for educators, and equip educational institutions with valuable data-driven insights to support more effective decision-making.

The scope of co-operation covers four key industrial zones: Ain Sokhna, East Port Said, West Qantara, and the Technology Valley in East Ismailia, in addition to six strategic ports: East Port Said, West Port Said, Ain Sokhna, Adabiya, El Arish, and El Tor.

The agreement also extends to SCZONE’s headquarters and other projects included within its scope.

Telecom Egypt is also showcasing a comprehensive portfolio of integrated solutions designed for the industrial sector, smart cities, and communities.

Leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and smart management systems, these solutions provide enhanced visibility into operational processes, optimise energy consumption and asset management, boost productivity, and minimise waste.

The company is further presenting specialised solutions for ports and airports, covering vehicle and equipment tracking, asset management, smart surveillance, and data analytics.

These offerings aim to streamline operations, maximise resource utilisation, minimise delays, and strengthen safety and security standards.

In the hospitality and hotel industry, Telecom Egypt is introducing its integrated “Hospitality & Beyond” solutions ecosystem, which brings together network services, surveillance systems, entertainment services, interactive television, guest communication platforms, digital payment solutions, and smart displays.

This comprehensive offering is designed to enrich the guest experience, enhance operational efficiency, and create additional revenue-generating opportunities for hospitality providers.

Additionally, the company is presenting a range of comprehensive digital packages specifically tailored to meet the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

These packages combine secure connectivity, networking solutions, surveillance systems, cloud services, and business applications, enabling SMEs to expand their operations, improve efficiency, and accelerate their digital development in a cost-effective manner.

Furthermore, Telecom Egypt is highlighting its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, developed in collaboration with leading international technology partners, alongside a range of specialised applications, including “WE Legal AI,” which is designed to streamline legal research and document management processes.

The company is also showcasing its comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity solutions and services, which are intended to safeguard networks, systems, and data, while enabling organisations to detect, prevent, and respond effectively to evolving cyber threats, thereby ensuring business continuity and strengthening their overall security posture.

At its exhibition pavilion, Telecom Egypt is also underscoring its extensive expertise in subsea cables and international digital infrastructure under the theme “International Infrastructure Ready for AI Traffic.”

The company is highlighting the strategic role of its network in facilitating connectivity between Asia, Africa, and Europe through an integrated infrastructure comprising subsea cable systems, landing stations, and multiple terrestrial transit routes.

With more than 90% of intercontinental data traffic passing through Egypt, Telecom Egypt continues to reinforce its position as a key player in the global digital infrastructure landscape.

The pavilion also showcases the development of a new international network extending across the Sinai Peninsula, alongside the “Red Sea Subsea Cable Route” initiative.
