“Sokkar Mecca” for Sewing Machines, a leading company in providing innovative and advanced sewing machine solutions and the official agent of China’s “JACK” in Egypt, has launched the latest JACK sewing machine powered by artificial intelligence. This step comes as part of the company’s strategy to bring the most advanced sewing technologies to the Egyptian ready-made garment sector.

This came during the press conference organized by the company to announce the launch of the new Jack A5E-B AMH2 machine in Egypt, with the participation of several media representatives, delegates from China’s JACK company, and officials from the Productivity and Vocational Training Department at the Ministry of Industry, in addition to the attendance of several leading owners of ready-made garment factories in Egypt.

The new machine represents one of the latest generations of sewing machines that integrate artificial intelligence technologies into the production process. It features advanced stitching systems in addition to a semi-dry motor that ensures uninterrupted operation, even in cases of lint or oil accumulation. This allows ready-made garment factories to handle various types of fabrics efficiently, enhance productivity, and consistently deliver high-quality products, thereby supporting local garment manufacturing in line with the latest global production standards.

For his part, Mr Moataz Sokkar, General Manager of “Sokkar Mecca” for Sewing Machines, stated that this event marks a significant milestone in the world of innovation and industrial sewing technology, representing a major leap forward for Egypt’s ready-made garment sector. He emphasized that this step goes beyond merely introducing a new machine to the market; it is a true reflection of the strong partnership between “Sokkar Mecca” and China’s “JACK”, the world’s leading sewing machine manufacturer, which will positively contribute to supporting the Egyptian industry with advanced technology.

Mr Moataz Sokkar added that the new machine was designed specifically to enhance the capabilities of garment factories in line with the state’s efforts to deepen local manufacturing, attract foreign investments, and boost Egypt’s regional and global competitiveness in this vital sector. This is achieved by combining global innovation with local expertise, empowering Egypt’s industrial sector to achieve a genuine leap in performance and productivity.

For his part, the General Manager of JACK China for the African region expressed his pleasure in collaborating with Sokkar for Sewing Machines, noting that JACK has so far achieved sales of more than one million units of this model worldwide. He added that the rapid development of the global ready-made garment industry requires keeping pace with the latest production technologies, which enable manufacturers to handle various types of fabrics and deliver products that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

He further explained that the new machine is suitable for different types of industrial projects, whether small, medium, or large-scale, and provides users with multiple options that help solve production challenges. This is achieved through a new generation of artificial intelligence technologies, in addition to a powerful motor that meets the needs of large-scale production operations.

In her speech on behalf of Major General Eng. Ihab Abdallah Ramadan, Head of the Productivity and Vocational Training Department at the Ministry of Industry, Eng. Mona Helmy, General Manager of Programs and Specifications at the Department, affirmed that cooperation between the public and private sectors is among the top priorities of the Egyptian government, given its vital role in boosting employment and driving economic growth.

Helmy expressed her appreciation for the collaboration with Sokkar Company as part of the state’s efforts to promote vocational training, particularly in the ready-made garment industry, as a key step toward linking education with the labor market, enhancing the skills of students and graduates, and providing qualified technical professionals to employers. She emphasized that these efforts align with the mission of the Productivity and Vocational Training Department as one of the Ministry of Industry’s executive arms, responsible for preparing and training skilled technical personnel in accordance with the latest international standards and systems.
