“The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Rosatom and Benha for Electronic Industries marks an important step in the development of Egypt’s manufacturing sector,” said Murad Aslanov, Director of Rosatom’s office in Egypt. “By introducing advanced manufacturing technologies, this partnership will improve operational efficiency, increase reliance on locally produced components, and elevate the quality and competitiveness of Egyptian products in regional and global markets. Under the agreement, a comprehensive action plan will be developed to apply advanced civil manufacturing technologies, including forming a joint working group to identify priorities for future projects. Key focus areas include boosting production efficiency, increasing reliance on locally manufactured components, improving product quality and enhancing export capabilities to regional and global markets.

“This partnership with Rosatom represents a transformative step into our journey to elevate our production capabilities. By adopting advanced manufacturing technologies, we aim to position ourselves as a leading manufacturing hub, contributing to the success of Egypt’s Vision 2030. Together, we will promote the ‘Made in Egypt’ brand, improve the quality of our products, and strengthen our competitiveness in regional and global markets”, said Major General Engineer Tarek Mohamed Mahmoud El-Abassy, Chairman of Benha for Electronic Industries, emphasising on the significance of this collaboration.

This MoU also underscores the shared commitment of Benha for Electronic Industries and Rosatom to localising technology and advancing Egypt’s industrial sector.
