Egypt’s International Cooperation Minister Rania el Mashat and Communications and Information Technology Minister Amr Talaat attended Wednesday the signing ceremony of an agreement between the Communications and Information Technology Ministry and the German Agency for International Cooperation or (GIZ) on cooperating in carrying out the first phase of the project aimed at Supporting e-Government and Innovation in the Public Administration (InnoPA) at a grant of eight million euros out of 17.5 million euros.
InnoPA is aiming at promoting innovation in digital transition and boosting e-government and calls for establishing a lab for developing government services applications.
Under the deal, both sides will cooperate in backing the organizational framework and coordinating digital transformation, in addition to active management of official developmental assistance and digital transition of the public administration.
