In a step that reflects its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and supporting the most vulnerable, LG Egypt has announced the signing of a new memorandum of understanding with the Misr El Kheir Foundation for 2025.

This collaboration, now in its third consecutive year, operates under the slogan “Life’s Good – Better Homes,” aiming to enhance the quality of life for deserving families and provide better living environments.

The memorandum was signed during a special ceremony held at the company’s headquarters in New Cairo, where LG Egypt and Misr El Kheir reviewed the fruitful outcomes of their past years of collaboration.

This partnership has provided support to thousands of beneficiaries across various governorates in Egypt through social, educational, and welfare programs, in addition to upgrading the standards of orphanages, elderly care homes, and disability centers.

Last year, several successful initiatives were implemented as part of LG Egypt’s social responsibility efforts. These included distributing more than 1,000 boxes of essential food supplies to underprivileged families during Ramadan.

The company also donated state-of-the-art televisions and washing machines to orphanages and elderly care homes, as well as LG XBOOM speakers for visually impaired centers.

In the education sector, LG contributed several smart screens to community schools in Fayoum and other governorates in Upper Egypt, enhancing the learning environment for students.

With the signing of the new memorandum, LG Egypt reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its support for underprivileged families by providing household appliances equipped with the latest technology.

This initiative aims to improve quality of life and furnish homes with modern comforts, ensuring dignity and well-being for community members across Egypt’s governorates.

Not only this, but also LG Egypt Service team will play a vital role in the initiative as they will provide free maintenance to all the products they donated across their last two years to ensure smooth operation of their products for many upcoming years.

Within the same context, Billy Kim, Manager director of LG Egypt, stated, “We are proud of the ‘Life’s Good’ social responsibility initiative, which embodies our vision of supporting the most deserving segments of society.

Our partnership with Misr El Kheir represents a model of cooperation to improve quality of life.”

Moreover, Eng. Amal Mobbada, Chef Fundraising Officer at Misr El Kheir Foundation, expressed her happiness with the ongoing partnership with LG Egypt for the third consecutive year, adding, “This partnership has resulted in significant support for beneficiaries through LG’s participation in various initiatives across different fields. We are grateful to LG for their contributions that make a real difference in people’s lives.”

She further added, “At Misr El Kheir, we believe in building strong partnerships with the private sector to support deserving communities, and this collaboration with LG Egypt is a vivid example of this approach.”

The new memorandum of understanding underscores the dedication of LG Egypt and Misr El Kheir Foundation to fostering sustainable cooperation and social contributions to achieve a better life for all.
