The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat has issued a decree appointing new experienced members in the Board of Directors of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), for a one-year term that starts on March 1.
Appointed by virtue of the decree are: Dell Technologies Vice President, General Manager, Egypt Center of Excellence Magued Mahmoud, Cisco Vice President – Middle East and Africa Reem Asaad, Si-Ware Systems CEO Hisham Haddara, Human Resources Director, Arab African International Bank (AAIB) Engy Wahdan, Chief Executive Officer, Retail Banking, Commercial International Bank (CIB) Ahmed Issa, BasharSoft CEO and Co-founder Ameer Sherif.
ITIDA Board of Directors includes representatives from the State Council, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Presidency of the Republic, the General Intelligence Service, and the Ministry of Finance, according to Law 15 of 2004, by virtue of which ITIDA was established.
