Cairo, Egypt – November 11, 2025 — From a wrinkle-release spray to science-backed haircare, Egyptian entrepreneurs are proving that innovation can start anywhere — and grow everywhere. Powered by creativity, persistence, and the reach of digital retail, local founders are finding new ways to turn simple ideas into successful national brands. One standout story is Iron Mist, a wrinkle-release spray created by marketing professional Shady Mabrouk. After appearing on Shark Tank Egypt and joining Amazon.eg as a selling partner, Iron Mist’s sales doubled, reflecting how Egyptian entrepreneurs are blending on-screen visibility with online scale to reach millions of customers.

Innovation Meets Opportunity
“I wanted to test my marketing skills with a product that solved an everyday problem,” says Shady Mabrouk, Founder of Iron Mist. “The brand’s innovative formula removes wrinkles in seconds without damaging fabrics at an accessible EGP 275 price point,” adds Shady.

Launched in May 2025, Iron Mist caught the attention of Abdallah Sallam, President and CEO of Madinet Masr, who committed an investment on Shark Tank Egypt. “What impressed me about Iron Mist was Shady’s marketing expertise and clear vision for growth,” says Sallam. “He identified a genuine customer need and worked backwards to deliver a solution. This is the kind of practical innovation that drives Egypt’s next phase of growth — combining real customer insight with digital know-how.”

Amazon.eg: Fueling Entrepreneurial Growth
Following its appearance on Shark Tank, Iron Mist joined Amazon.eg in October 2025. “Appearing on Shark Tank opened doors for us, and joining Amazon.eg has accelerated our journey,” says Shady Mabrouk. “Amazon has given us visibility, credibility, and access to customers nationwide. To other entrepreneurs: stay persistent — work hard, stay curious, and keep innovating. The results will follow.”
Through tools like Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), data-driven insights, and seller education programs, Amazon.eg helps small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) scale efficiently while maintaining reliable delivery and trusted customer service. “Iron Mist represents the spirit of Egyptian entrepreneurship — creativity, grit, and a deep focus on customers,” says Omar Elsahy, Amazon Egypt General Manager. “Our collaboration with Shark Tank Egypt gives talented founders the visibility and infrastructure they need to grow their brands. At Amazon, we’re proud to help bring these innovative Egyptian products to more customers, both locally and globally.”

Building a Community of Success
Iron Mist joins a growing list of Shark Tank Egypt success stories thriving on Amazon.eg, including Curlit, a homegrown brand redefining curly hair care. When founder Alya Othman returned to Egypt from Canada, she saw a gap for products tailored to Egyptian hair needs. After earning international certification and conducting extensive lab testing, she launched Curlit with a science-first approach. “The reach and credibility of Amazon.eg have been invaluable,” says Osman. “We’re now expanding through Amazon Canada, bringing Egyptian-made products to international customers who value authenticity and science-backed results.”
Other Shark Tank Egypt alumni scaling their businesses on Amazon.eg include Pavo, recipient of last year’s Amazon Golden Ticket, Ashry Naturals, Carpetivity, Asfoura, and Life Snacks. Customers can discover these brands year-round on Amazon.eg, and enjoy exclusive deals during the White Friday Sale, featuring deep discounts, fast and free delivery for Prime members, and flexible payment options.

Empowering Egypt’s Next Generation of Entrepreneurs
From local labs to living rooms, Egyptian founders are rewriting what it means to build a business in the digital age. By pairing innovation with the infrastructure and customer reach of Amazon.eg, they are helping shape a more connected, resilient, and opportunity-rich future for Egyptian retail — one product at a time.
