Atos undertakes to expand its offshore operations directed towards exporting services including ERP software implementation, technical support, software development and infrastructure database management. Atos’ portfolio and focus areas include smart city services, AI and Cloud solutions, big data and analytics, and cybersecurity.

The agreement between Atos and ITIDA was signed at MWC 2021 in the presence of Amr Mahfouz, ITIDA CEO; Nourdine Bihmane, Executive Vice-President of Atos and Head of Growing Markets; Ahmad Elharany, Atos General Manager for Egypt.

Amr Mahfouz, CEO of ITIDA, said: “We are committed to support Atos plans to ramp up its operations in Egypt as part of our mandate and the support we can offer to global tech players and inward investors every step of the way and help them better serve their customers across the globe.”

ITIDA acts as a focal point for foreign investors and a strategic advisor to multinational companies investing in the local digital sector. ITIDA promotes and encourages the development of international competitiveness of ICT services and products in Egypt.

Nourdine Bihmane, Head of Growing Markets of Atos, added: “I am very happy to be at Mobile World Congress 2021 to lay a first stone and launch this ambitious partnership.
